To Anthem and/or DiVo: Perhaps you can make this a sticky?

This is a message to everyone who has this problem.

So, you're playing on the red or blue server and you got some xp. You log out and log back in and notice that your xp is gone. This is because you don't have a GUID. You're also not able to be recruited. Basically you visit our server, but the server doesn't register you as a player.

Now, there are different things that you might try to do.

1. You can go to etkey.org and download and etkey. You have to place that etkey in the etmain folder.

2. Make sure PunkBuster is enabled.

3. This is basically a recap of all the different things you can do by Anthem:

- Open notepad, leave it blank, save to etmain as etkey.txt.

- Go to control panel - folder options - View (sub category) - Hide extensions for known file types (leave it unmarked). And I assume you have at least Windows as your OS.

- Remove the extension .txt from etkey and leave it just etkey. Now start your ET.exe and try it out.

- Type \cl_guid into the console to see if you really have a GUID. If not, then I'm just shocked man...

4. If ALL else fails and you are really desperate. Reinstall ET and make sure to install PunkBuster
