Your clocking is pretty good as it's over 3.00 GHz. Most games require it to be at least around 3.00.
I don't like NVIDIA nor Intel, that's why I have AMD.
Now Typlo, you must test your processor volts and heats. Download
HW Monitor - your CPU hardware monitor (shows voltages, temperatures, your fans RPM and so on and remember your CPU heat cannot be more than 60 celsius or well then you're overheating your hardware real bad)
prime95 - this to test your processor (must be in exertion to test it out, keep your HW Monitor open and observe your CPU's heats and temperatures, they will vary)
CPU-Z - your core speed (clocking overview, tell me your core speed and how many cores do you possible have, I know that it's 3.40GHz but this shows it very thoroughly)
I know this stuff cuz I'm studying ICT (Internet and Communication Technology) such as IT. We've had tests, exams, examples about these very same stuff before. We have built our own computers so it's pretty damn sure I know something about it...
Anything about your motherboard?
