Euro 2012 Empty
PostSubject: Euro 2012   Euro 2012 I_icon_minitimeJune 10th 2012, 09:02

Poland
Not really a good game to start the tournament. They shud of kept their side goaless and their strikers shud of scored a couple of times more. I like the tactic Poland is playing and how they move the ball, it's nice to look that kind of football. Very much gravitated to Lewandowski and his capability of finishing.

Greece
To be honest they're pretty slow on the field and quite stiff. They don't have the fastest legs, they are vulrenable enough to get passed by easily. Need more fast players otherwise they'll not go thru to the next round for sure.

Czech Republic
Nice passes, team controlled by two virtuosos Rosicky and Plasil mostly. Pilar and Jiracek very good runners, hard to catch. They have weapons to win big teams but the defensive side is the weakest link I guess.

Russia
As they won the hockey tournament earlier ago they have a very good scoring percent per each shot. They score almost tremendously at every shot. Good rising youngsters such as Kokorin, Dzagoev.

The Netherlands
Amazing finishers, goal-greedy strikers. It's about time when they break thru and start kicking those goals. Maybe the only weakness they have is in defence. Who the hell is Vlaar and why Heitinga is there? Those are the two big questionmarks that mite crack during the tournament.

Denmark
Good thing is that they came as the underdog. No expectations to win which means no pressure -> mite be a surprise as they've already shown that they can beat big countries in football like the Dutches.

Germany
Expected winner, still a kind of stiff gameplay in the 1st match. Need to improve from this a lot to win the Dutches. Relying on Gomez, Özil, Schweinsteiger and the youngsters Muller, Götze, Schurrle. They are always very dangerous and very attacking opponent. Always been successful in tournaments and reached farther than the group rounds.

Portugal
Not so many individual players with skills except Cristiano. But as any country or club, a team cannot only be based on only one player. The Real Madrid stars Ronaldo, Coentrao and Pepe are in big shoes and mostly because of 'em they mite succeed.

Spain
There is no question that they can play beautiful and very rough football (has been seen with Barca too). But they need to be more distinctive right now (they play the style of Barca, passing a lot of passes and this little game inside of the opponent's side. They need to differ, there are countries and clubs that have broke Barca's game style so now it makes Spain vulrenable and not unexpected.

Euro 2012 Empty

Italy
Very counter attacking football by them. They have good strikers that every defender shud be afraid of. Balotelli and Di Natale are two but Balotelli has a way of turning good things into bad sometimes. When having a good spot of scoring he may screw it up totally and may lose control of his mind. Di Natale is more secure and has always scored more than 20 goal in the Italian Serie A league. Nice good midfielders also, at very young age.

Ireland
Almost as same as England, no expectations and well, they are the most underrated team of the tournament by now. Not much to say.

Croatia
Plenty of skillful players with young age are going to be a big matter in their games. A good goal scorer Mandzukic is always dangerous and not always but most likely wins head balls for his team so very good in the air.

France
Not so many stars on the team but a few that may settle things down. Nasri's very talented, as much as he is referred to as a new Zidane he cannot be in his shoes, nobody can but he is some way very similar in all features. I think that their defence isn't so tough so they're gonna have to be very secure and give easy passes from defence to offence to make it right.

England
Their journeys in these tournaments have been a terrible fiasco in the last couple of years. They just don't succeed as a team, they need foreign players to get thru but this is country vs. country football not club vs. club. No expectations from England but they may get thru to the 2nd round but not farther.

Ukraine
Came as the underdog of course but has proven they have potential to play against bad countries. They've still got an old stager, Shevchenko. Although they're not gonna go to the 2nd round though.

Sweden
As much as they rely on Zlatan to help their team to win it's not a one player game. I think they mite surprise in the end but they don't have the guts to beat bad countries who master the field better than Sweden for example France in their group.
